PMAP Officers meet Davide

IMG_5564Officers of the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) headed by their president Atty. Josephus B. Jimenez, paid courtesy call to Governor Hilario P. Davide III and encouraged personnel from the Provincial Government to attend their 51st PMAP National Conference in Cebu.

PMAP, is a professional, non-stock, non profit organization whose members include companies and individual executives engaged in Human Resource or Industrial Relations work.

Jimenez said that this year’s PMAP national conference will encourage participation from officers of the of Local Government Unit, which will be the organization’s contribution to the “daang matuwid” advocacy of the government.

Jimenez also divulged that Former Supreme Court Chief Justice Hilario Davide Jr. will stand as the chairperson of the awards committee which will choose this year’s Employer of the Year (EOY).

The 51st PMAP Conference will be held on September 17-19, 2014 with a theme “HR Readiness Towards ASEAN Integration”. PMAP Officers have once again chosen Cebu as the venue for their national conference, and expectover 1000 participants or HR practitioners from all over the country.

Atty. Josephus B. Jimenez, born and raised in Argao Cebu, was previously the Undersecretary of Labor.

Governor Hilario P. Davide III assured Jimenez that the Provincial Government will send personnel to participate in PMAP Conference to improve human resource management in government service. Diane Higida
