Governor Hilario P. Davide III reminded the health care managers to strive not for business alone but also for the benefit of the society.
This, as the governor welcomed the participants of the 13th Annual Hotel Management Asia (HMA) Learning Conference and Expo last Aug. 28 to 29 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cebu City.
In his message, Davide said he believed that business and social responsibility should go together.
“It’s a cyclical concept that is beneficial for the hospitals as well as surrounding community. As in governance and hospital management, we must strive for the benefit of all,” he said.
The governor was pleased that the prestigious affair was held in Cebu. HMA brings “worldwide healthcare management thinking and experience to Asia” through an event that is attended by 800 to 900 participants.
HMA gathered world class-practitioners and experts to share their insights, skills and practical tips with hospital managers in Asia. Hence, it is called Asia’s premier earning conference and expo for health care managers.
Its audiences include hospital and health care executives, section chiefs, medical professionals, and solution providers who promoted their products, services and technologies in the event.
“I hope you take away and share much in this conference and expo. I hope that through our combined efforts, we not only improve hospital management but also improve the lives and communities of our people,” Davide said.
HMA community already has 1,600 hospitals in its fold.
