To show Mandaue City’s advantage as home to many world-class manufacturers, the Mandaue City Government, Cebu Provincial Government and the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) recently held the first Expo Mandaue at Oakridge Pavillion.
Bringing the city’s brand of #IamMandaue, the three-day expo was more than just to showcase finest products and premier quality services but also to promote companies.
The theme of the expo was “Designing for the World”.
“There is a need to have a place where we can showcase the talents and skills of Mandauehanons. The designs we introduced in this expo are just a tip of Mandauehanon skills and spirit,” said Mayor Jonas Cortes.
Meanwhile the ribbon cutting of the expo was led by Governor Hilario P. Davide III, Ambassador Ma. Angelina Sta. Catalina and Cortes.
At least 51 companies participated in the expo. Among the products displayed were in the furniture and handicrafts industry.
