To address the needs of the typhoon victims in the province, the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office released relief assistance to 38,605 families in the first, third, fourth and fifth districts of Cebu . The assistance contained three (3) kgs. of rice, five (5) canned goods, noodles , two (2) bottled water, wafer and nachos.
Meanwhile, PSWD Officer-in-Charge Evelyn Senajon said that the assistance was only the first phase and next phase will contain mats, blankets, pail, plates, tumbler, bowl, pot and mosquito net.
The food packs were distributed to the municipalities that were badly hit by the super typhoon such as Madridejos, Sta.Fe, Bantayan, Daanbantayan, Poro, San Francisco, Tudela and Pilar.
