Capitol launches advocacy campaign

| by: admin

Last December 21, the Cebu Provincial Government officially launched its advocacy campaign “Kalambuan sa Matag Sugbuanon” at the Capitol Grounds. At the launch, the official logo of the campaign was also unveiled.

In line with Governor Hilario P. Davide III’s participatory and collaborative style of leadership, Kalambuan sa Matag Sugbuanon symbolizes the effort of working for progress as every Cebuano’s duty. The logo connotes progress and cooperation of everyone in achieving inclusive development.

“This is the mantra, the creed, the spirit every member of the Capitol must take to heart to rise above the challenges we face in our pursuit of public service, and the answer that we must always seek in every activity or project that bears this administration’s undertaking.” Provincial Information Officer Ethel Natera delivered the Governor’s message since he was in Manila on a business trip during the launch.

The launching also highlighted the accomplishments of the provincial government on health, countryside development, education, natural resources, infrastructure and law and order.

Vice Governor Agnes Magpale reiterated what the provincial government has done in the last two years. She emphasized that under the Davide administration, Cebu was among the first to rise among other provinces during Yolanda because of its efficient fiscal management. She commended Davide’s thrust of leadership in good governance.

Together with Provincial Board members Jude Sybico and Carmen Meca, Magpale lighted the 3D life-size logo. The logo, seen at the Capitol grounds, illuminates yellow and blue, the colors of the Cebu Provincial Government. July Anne Guibone
