The Mines and Geosciences Bureau personnel who were in the barangay to check areas prone to landslides likewise confirmed the reports.
No one was reportedly hurt nor damaged in the said incident.
Brgy. Captain Toting Caballero, who was alerted about the incident, immediately instructed the police to put yellow tapes in the area to block onlookers from viewing the sinkhole and avoid untoward accidents.
Apparently, rain continues in Badian due to tropical depression “Quennie” which has affected some areas in Southern Cebu.
